We were thrilled to welcome WHO 13 News to Mary’s Helping Hands! Their coverage helped shine a light on the growing need in our community—and the ways we're stepping up to meet it.

In the interview, we shared how we’re currently distributing over 8,000 diapers each month and how we served more than 6,000 clients in 2023. And the momentum is building: in just the first quarter of 2024, our numbers have already increased by 12%!

As the need continues to rise, so does our commitment to serve. Thank you to WHO 13 News for helping us share this mission of hope and help with families across Iowa.

A huge thank you to WHO 13 News for covering our very first Pickleball Tournament fundraiser! This fun-filled day brought the community together to rally in support of Iowa families in need.

Proceeds from the event help provide essential items—like diapers, clothing, and more—for children during the critical first two years of life.
We’re so grateful to everyone who played, donated, volunteered, and cheered us on. Together, we're serving families with love, dignity, and joy—one point at a time!

Way back at the beginning of our journey, Hello Iowa welcomed Lauren and Carrissa on the show to introduce Central Iowa to a brand-new nonprofit: Mary’s Helping Hands!

This was one of our very first interviews, and we were so excited (and a little nervous!) to share our mission—to provide hope, help, and baby essentials to families during the first two years of life.

It’s amazing to look back and see how far God has brought us since then.
